JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining training materials, conducting sessions, and providing ongoing support to ensure users can navigate tax credit systems efficiently and with ease.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Training Development & Delivery:
- Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs on tax credit systems by making appropriate travel arrangements, preparing and packaging participant and facilitator materials, coordinating the registration and set-up process, and updating and revising training programs as necessary to ensure the curriculum meets the Company's training needs.
- Creates new or revises existing training programs by researching tax credit systems and software functionality, authoring participant and facilitator training materials, designing instructions, practice, and other learning activities, and developing other support materials, including PowerPoint presentations, audiovisuals, graphics, job aids, and other documents.
System Support & Expertise:
- Develop a deep understanding of tax credit systems and related processes, staying updated on any changes or updates.
- Provides help desk support by troubleshooting and responding to user requests and questions, researching and correcting systems problems, and following up with the end users to ensure satisfaction with the resolution of systems-related issues.
- Respond to queries either through the internal helpdesk system, by email, over the phone, or in person as needed.
- Provides customer service by walking customers through the problem-solving process and following up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved.
Compliance & Updates:
- Stay informed about relevant tax credit regulations and ensure training content aligns with legal and industry standards.
- Collaborate with system developers, tax credit specialists, and compliance teams to integrate new policies and updates into training materials.
- Collaborates with Accounting, Operations, and Training departments to ensure the successful support of software systems.
Performance Monitoring:
- Assess the effectiveness of the training program effectiveness by developing pre-and post-tests, surveys, and/or other methods and tools to assess learner understanding, and by reviewing other Company reports to link training to overall performance and results.
- Acts as a performance improvement resource to managers by following up to provide individual coaching and one-on-one training, conducting remedial and refresher training, and suggesting education and training alternatives and options based on specific situations.
- Continuously improve training approaches based on evaluations and advancements in learning technologies.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated proficiency in property management software (preferably Real Page and Yardi), and other computer applications and software used by the Company sufficient to maintain, troubleshoot, provide instructions, and install as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Education, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in tax credit administration, systems training, or a related role.
- Proven experience with tax credit software and tools is highly preferred.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex systems and concepts.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple training initiatives.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS:
- Certification in instructional design, training, or related fields is a plus.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Team members work in an office or remote work environment. No special physical demands are required.
- Rare or occasional travel may be required to attend business meetings, training programs, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.

Additional Compensation:
- Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
- Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
