JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for system administration of Greystar’s Yardi Residential Management Solution (CRM Flex, CRM IQ, Voyager, AR Manager, MIQ etc).

The job holder will be Greystar’s local expert-level super user and second line support for Yardi , also responsible for requirements gathering, business and systems process mapping and detailed system requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Maintains and administers the Yardi Residential Management eco-systems, ensuring data integrity and the standardisation of procedures and practices.

  • Leads and/or participates in the due diligence and property set up process by completing systems conversions and/or set-up of new properties.

  • Coordinates and assists in supervising systems upgrades, conversion, and installations by evaluating and recommending upgrades based on business needs and requirements.

  • Works closely with the UK & US Systems team to ensure that the databases are maintainedin accordance with global policy.

  • Undertakes 2nd line support for Yardi , analysing issues and problems related to software systems and programs, and determiningand implementing appropriate solutions, training, or maintenanceas necessary.

  • Prepares and executes ETLs in the appropriate sequence.

  • Analyses business requirements and writes appropriate YSR reports.

  • Manages any ad-hoc database changes, as requested and in line with standard procedures governing the database.

  • Maintains systems and databases for existing and new properties by entering data, running reports and performing audits as necessary.

  • Works with the Learning and Development Manager to develop technical reports, documents, user support and technical manuals to support systems and software training.  

  • Prepares detailed functional programme specifications for reports, interfaces and other modules.

  • Communicates with managementregarding the progress of software and systems training initiatives, participation and impact on performance by creating and analysing reports, gathering feedback from managers and team members, reviewing other Company reports related to benchmarks and performance metrics and making recommendations for enhancing results.

  • Completes various financial, accounting, administrative and other reports and analysis or other duties as assigned or as necessary.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Knowledge and proficiency in Yardi residential ecosystem(CRM Flex, Maintenance IQ, Voyager, AR Manager, MIQ).

  • A solid understanding of ETLs and YSR.

  • A solid understanding of SSRS and complex SQL scripts.

  • A good working knowledge of Yardi International, GL Accounting (AR/AP), Investment and Construction modules.

  • IT literate and fully conversant with all Microsoft packages including Excel, Access and Project.

  • Fluent English. Additional European language preferable

Experience & Skills

  • Experience of working with operational business systems, in a similar senior level system administration or analytical and systems implementation/project management/support role.

  • Experience of helpdesk/system support services.

  • Experience within or general understanding of the property sector, in particular residential apartments and third-party management, in order to relate financial and operating analyses to practical business solutions and process improvements.

  • Solid business analysis skills to be effective at activity and milestone management and tracking of progress.

  • Demonstrates a passion for customer service and a flexible approach to working supportively with others in the achievement of the overall Company goals; patient, responsive and demonstrates a positive attitude.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with impact and influence.
