JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This role is responsible for leading strategic communications, training, and engagement efforts that support the successful implementation of programs and initiatives across Greystar’s U.S. Property Management (USPM) Operations. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in internal communications, change management, and learning and development, with a passion for enabling teams through clear messaging and practical tools.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Strategic Communications Leadership
    Collaborates with business leaders and working groups to develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with Greystar’s brand and culture, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging to onsite team members regarding new initiatives, roll-outs, and launches.
  • Standards & Process Development
    Establishes communication standards, frameworks, timelines, and budgets to guide the planning and execution of effective team member communications. Partners with stakeholders to align messaging with business goals and operational timelines.
  • Program Enablement Planning
    Leads the strategy and planning for communication, training, and engagement efforts related to program roll-outs, including the creation of detailed project plans, roadmaps, and high-quality deliverables to ensure timely and effective implementation.
  • Training Content Oversight
    Oversees the design and delivery of multimedia training, job aids, and enablement resources. Provides direction on instructional approach and authors content as needed, including facilitator guides and implementation tools.
  • Content Creation & Messaging Excellence
    Writes and edits communications to ensure clarity, consistency, and impact. Enhances the quality and tone of various deliverables including written announcements, presentation decks, training scripts, and instructional materials.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Presentation
    Delivers concise and compelling presentations to internal stakeholders that drive awareness, alignment, and action on initiatives, emphasizing measurable outcomes and frontline impact.
  • Campaign & Project Management
    Manages multiple communication campaigns simultaneously, using project management tools to ensure timely delivery and leveraging communication platforms to measure engagement and effectiveness.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) from an accredited college or university in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Instructional Design, or related fields.
  • 10 years minimum of proven experience in internal communications, enablement, learning & development, or organizational change, particularly in support of initiative-based rollouts.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from conception through execution and evaluation, with strong attention to deadlines and stakeholder alignment.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft creative, persuasive, and informative messaging across diverse channels.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities, with the capacity to collaborate across departments, influence outcomes, and adapt to varying communication styles and business needs.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Staffbase, and Asana (or similar project and communications tools) is a plus.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Team members work in an office or remote work environment. No special physical demands are required.
  • Occasional travel may be required to attend business meetings, training programs, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $175,000

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
